Bulk Billing Update – Effective 1 November 2025
Starting 1 November 2025, our practice will bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all consultations*, including weekends.
*The majority of GP appointments will be bulk billed. Please note that some services will still incur a fee, including:
For procedures and certain specialised consultations
For non-attendance or late cancellations the non-attendance fee must be paid before your next appointment
Overseas Students and Visitor Insurance Appointments
The majority of patients with student or visitor insurance policies will be billed directly to their Insurance company (when your policy allows and subject to your claim limits). Please note that some services will still incur a fee, including:
When you do not bring your insurance card which enables the Practice to take a direct insurance payment ( you will pay the full amount and can claim it back yourself )
Telehealth consultations where your insurance company does not automatically pay the full consult fees ( you may be able to claim back from your insurance policy subject to you policy conditions)
For procedures and other specialised consultations
We will still charge a weekend gap for non-Medicare patients.

Parking Options:
• George Street Council Car Park (36 George St, Burwood): Take the lift, and you’ll find us just across the road. The first two hours are free with a Prime Parking permit.
• Myhealth Basement Parking: Accessible via John Street, this parking is available for patients who are disabled, elderly, or have mobility impairments, ensuring convenient access.
• Westfield Burwood: Free parking is also available at Westfield Burwood, just a short walk away.

Yes. From November 1, 2025 our billing policy has been updated to align with the new Medicare bulk billing initiative, providing Medicare-eligible patients the opportunity to access high-quality care with no out-of-pocket costs.
