    Fee Update for Dr Lynette Nasri – Effective 1 May

    Please note that Dr Nasri’s consultation fees will be increasing from 1 May 2026.

    The updated GAP (out of pocket) fees are as follows:

    Standard Consultation: $40 GAP

    Long Consultation: $50 GAP

    Important Update: Changes to Doctor's Fees and Bulk Billing Eligibility

    To help us continue delivering quality care amid rising costs, A GAP fee of $30 to $50 (Out of Pocket Contribution) will apply to consultations. Please see our current Pricing/Fees section below for details.

    Bulk billing eligibility has also changed, and you must be registered for MyMedicare and meet existing criteria to qualify. Please see our eligibility criteria.

    COLD or FLU SYMPTOMS?

    If you have any cold or flu symptoms, such as sore throat, cough, runny/congested nose or fever, please book a Telehealth appointment. If you need to come in then you need to do a Rapid Antigen Test before your appointment, which must come back NEGATIVE.

    Please DO NOT attend the clinic if you are COVID POSITIVE, instead please call reception. DOCTORS WILL NOT SEE COVID POSITIVE PATIENTS FACE TO FACE, but you may be eligible for a Telehealth appointment.

    New MyMedicare Telehealth Services

    Doctors are now providing more convenient telehealth services for Prescription Renewal, Referral Renewal and Medical Certificates.This will be bulk-billed if you are enrolled in the practice via MyMedicare. A standard GAP fee of $30 applies otherwise.

    Are you a bulk billing clinic?
    The majority of our GPs offer Mixed Billing consultations Monday to Friday. Gap fees apply to Medicare card holders aged 16 and above, as well as Private Health Insurance holders. We bulk bill DVA/Age Pensioners, Concession Card holders, and Children under the age of 16. On Saturdays, all patients are billed privately, including children and patients with pension, concession, or health care cards, as well as for Telehealth consultations.

    How will the fee be processed?
    You will be charged the full amount of the consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then process your Medicare Rebate electronically on your behalf. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.

    Why is the Doctor running late for my appointment?
    Your doctor may be running behind for several reasons: urgent phone calls from hospitals or specialists, extended consultation times needed for patients, medical emergencies, or delays caused by previous patients arriving late.

    Do I need an appointment for a script/referral?
    Yes, you need to make an appointment with your GP for any script or referral.

    If I need the doctor to sign some paperwork, do I need an appointment?
    Yes, you will need a face-to-face appointment. The doctor needs to review and discuss the paperwork with you before they can sign it.

    Why do I need a doctor's appointment for an immunisation?
    To ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the immunisation, the doctor needs to review your medical history before the nurse administers it.

    Can I fit my family member into my appointment?
    No, each patient needs their own appointment slot to ensure the doctor can provide thorough care and avoid delays for other patients.

    I have booked a telehealth appointment, will the doctor call me on time?
    Not always. Please allow at least 2 hours for the doctor to call you. If you miss the call, the doctor will leave a voicemail. Make sure to call back promptly so we can reschedule if needed.
