Bulk Billing Update – Effective 1 November 2025

Starting 1 November 2025, our practice will bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all consultations, including weekends.

Home Visit Consultations

The home visit gap fee has increased. The new fee is the consultation fee plus a $250 gap. Home visits are available by appointment and subject to availability.

About Myhealth Northmead Medical Clinic

Myhealth Northmead is a Bulk Billing medical centre conveniently located in Northmead Shopping Centre.

The centre started it’s humble beginnings in 2008 as Twinkle Medical Centre and have grown to our current team, thanks to the support and trust of the people we treat and care for. We are fortunate enough to have a strong and caring team. All of our doctors take the time to do what is right and necessary for you, and will also be able to guide you on your health care needs tailored to your requirements. We care.

Children are our focus. They are our future and our legacy. All our doctors have had further studies to look after your child better. We have all done a Diploma in Paediatrics or Diploma in Child’s Health. We hope you can trust us with your child and we promise we will always do our best.

We offer a full range of medical services with pathology, dental and comprehensive allied health services onsite. From September 2017 we will now be called Myhealth Northmead Medical Centre and look forward to this new chapter for our centre. We will to continue strive to do our best to service the community.

Updated Billing Policy – In Line with the Medicare Universal Bulk Billing Initiative

From November 1, 2025 our billing policy has been updated to align with the new Medicare bulk billing initiative, providing Medicare-eligible patients the opportunity to access high-quality care with no out-of-pocket costs.

Please be sure to advise reception at the time of booking if you have a Health Care/Concession/Pension or DVA card, so we can add these to your files and avoid any unnecessary charges.

Whilst fees for Medicare-eligible patients can be bulk billed for many services, consultation fees are also outlined here to ensure transparency for all patients who choose the high-quality care at our clinic. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our friendly staff members.

Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy

For the first instance of non-attendance, no charge will apply, although the patient will be kindly reminded of the cancellation fee. If an appointment is missed with less than 2 hours' notice, a fee of $50 will apply for a 15-minute appointment, and $100 for longer appointments. Further appointments can be scheduled once the fee has been settled.
