Updated Billing Policy – In Line with the Medicare Universal Bulk Billing Initiative

From November 1, 2025 our billing policy has been updated to align with the new Medicare bulk billing initiative, providing Medicare-eligible patients the opportunity to access high-quality care with no out-of-pocket costs.    

Please be sure to advise reception at the time of booking if you have a Health Care/Concession/Pension or DVA card, so we can add these to your files and avoid any unnecessary charges.

Whilst fees for Medicare-eligible patients can be bulk billed for many services, consultation fees are also outlined here to ensure transparency for all patients who choose the high-quality care at our clinic. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our friendly staff members.

Please note:

• Some procedures and specific services may still involve out-of-pocket fees. For further details, kindly speak with our reception team.

• The $35 gap fee still applies for all eligible OSHC and OVHC card holders with ALLIANZ, NIB, BUPA, CBHS, AHM and MEDIBANK.

Please note that podiatry services are generally not covered by Medicare. However, patients with a chronic medical condition may be eligible for Medicare rebates if they have a valid Care Plan in place, along with a podiatry referral from their regular doctor, the Gap fee is $10 only.

Under Medicare’s Allied Health program, eligible patients can claim rebates for up to five visits per calendar year, shared across all allied health services (such as physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, etc.).

If you do not have a valid referral, the fee for an initial podiatry consultation is $70.

If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim part of the cost depending on your level of cover. We recommend checking directly with your insurer for details of your entitlements. Item number 004 ( initial consult) under podiatry .
